Sophie grew up in Chico, California, where her favorite activity was visiting the farmer’s market with her mom, who instilled in her a love of beautiful produce and creative cooking. Sophie’s love for cooking led her to become a private chef, specializing in intimate sit-down dinner parties. Her most requested items were her gathering boards, which are large wooden boards filled with the highest quality American salumi alongside Bay Area jams, honey, nuts, and fruits. After seeing how popular her gathering boards had become, she decided to begin selling her boards full-time. Her business is now growing rapidly with clients such as LinkedIn, and she plans to continue expanding her operations during the next year.
