Dominique lost her job during Covid and while home, got involved in woodworking. She started by making a platform bed for her twins, and has moved into building and reupholstering furniture. She loves changing something with her hands and bringing furniture back to life. Her goal is sustainability and creating beautiful furniture, and she brings a very spiritual perspective to the work, which she attributes to her Haitian heritage.
