Using a Limited Liability Entity to Protect Your Business During COVID-19 from Start Small Think Big on Vimeo.
Hosted by Start Small and La Cocina; Recorded on July 7, 2020
During the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery period, small business owners may consider forming a limited liability entity to protect the business or may need to review corporate governance requirements for their current entity. Facilitated by a lawyer, this workshop is designed to give you an overview of the various legal structures that are available to you as a small business owner (e.g., LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, Sole Proprietorship, Worker Cooperative, B-Corp, etc.), as well as some of the legal and tax consequences of each. The workshop reviews the key corporate governance requirements for each structure.
